SUM OF £34,000,000 FOR SEASON. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.5 a.m.) ' SYDNEY, This Day. It is officially announced that disbursements by the Australian Wheat Board for the .1939-40 wheat crop totalled £34,000,000, which is the greatest cheque for wheat since the 1926- 27 season. Growers received £27,000,000, the remaining £7,000,000 being absorbed by freight handling and other charges.
