WOMEN’S DIVISION.
MITCHAM-ROKEBY BRANCH. At the July meeting of MitchamRokeby Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union Mrs Penney presided over 11 members. One new member was welcomed. The hostesses gave an interesting quotation and reading. A parcel of scarves and a fur coat were donated to he sent to the minesweepers’ fund and 10s was, collected from members to send a parcel to a district soldier overseas. Competitions resulted: Scarves: Miss O. Copland 1, Miss L. Penney 2. Mrs Doig and Mrs Zeigler (equal) 3. Marmalade: Mrs Wilkinson *l, Mrs Ziegler 2, Miss, L. Penney 3. Bloom: Mrs Penney 1, Miss L. Penney 2, Mrs Ziegler 3. Mrs Wilkinson was thanked for being hostess.
