TEAM WALKS OFF FIELD. CHRISTCHURCH, July 28. Led by their captain, A. Sutherland, the Thistle team walked off the fifeld as a. protest against the ordering off of one of their players during the second spell of the local Chatham Chip Soccer final against Western on .Saturday. It was only after officials had. talked with the teams that the match was continued. The game was comparatively free of ill-feeling up to this stage, and trouble really started when Western were awarded a goal in the second spell which caused protests from Thistle players.
