When thrilling scenes in Universars 12-cliapter serial drama, “Scouts to the Rescue,” which starts on Saturday at the St. James Theatre, required Jackie Cooper and other youthful actors to handle bows and arrows, technical advisors were on hand in other members of the cast. Several Los Angeles and Hollywood Boy Scouts working in the picture had mastered archery as part of their training, but the others received expert tuition from Shooting Star, Lucien Y. Maxwell, J. W. Cody and other full-blooded Indians who take part in many of the film’s exciting sequences.
