CHILD REFUGEES.
NOT BEING SENT OVERSEAS. APPREHENSION OF'PARENTS. LONDON, June 11. Since a number of parents apparently suppose that children registered under the present evacuation scheme may he sent to Australia, Canada, or other Empire countries, the Government emphasises that no children at present are being sent outside Britain. Any scheme arising from the Dominion offers which are under consideration Avould be entirely distinct. No child will be sent abroad except at the express wish of its .parents.
