GIBRALTAR WANTED.
SPANISH WRITER’S DEMAND. DEMONSTRATION BY STUDENTS. MADRID, June; 1. Coinciding with- the arrival of Sir Samuel Hjcaire, as British Envoy Extraordinary on a special mission, a group of students demonstrated in the Puerta del Sol demanding Gibraltar for Spain. The British Embassy is heavily guarded. Spain’s leading, publicist, Senor Manuel Aznar, in an article in the press, said: “We want to demand Gibraltar, which Britain might just as well return to Spain because the fortress has lost its military value as a result of the rearmament of Spain.”
