MAORI FARMER.
WOMAN WINS CUP. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, March 16. The Arawhenua Trust Board has this year aAvardcd to Mrs Tatni Hall, of le Toko, the magnificent silver cup presented in 1933 by Lord Bledisloe for annual competition among Maori farmers. She is a member of the Arawa tribe and a settler on the Pnlauaki development scheme. Air Fred Atnoamo, of Omarumutu, AA’lio was second, is a member of the Whakntohon tribe and a settler under the Whakatohea development scheme. Third AV.as Airs Ngarangi Kohcro, of Rangitaukia, a member of the Ngatiporou tribe. She Avns third in the last competition. Tho judge, (Mr Wall cer, an instructor in agriculture at Hamilton, in his reports, states that the standard reached by all eight competitors Avas worthy of the highest commendation.
