FIGHT IN ’PLANE.
PASSENGER ATTACKS PILOT.

C • A fight above the harbour between the pilot of a training ’plane, and a passenger ended in the latter’s death when the ’plane' plummeted into the bay. ' ■ i The pilot said that when over Brooklyn the passenger seized the dual f control, threw* the ’plane into a loop and struck him on the head with a pair of pliers. The passenger apparently fell from the ’plane. The pilot was rescued by a- tug. The police believe that the passenger, who has tentatively been identified as a former theatrical press agent, was deliberately attempting to commit suicide, and instead w r as overcome by terror. They expressed the. opinion that the passenger hired tho ’plane lor that purpose.
