Mr Eric Clarkson, of Wellington, secretary to the New Zealand Master Printers’ Federation, was a visitor to A shburton yesterday.
After nearly 40 years’ continuous service to the Taranaki Hospital Board, for 23 of which she has occupied the position of matron of the New Plymouth Hospital, Miss Beatrice A. Campbell, M.8.E., yesterday tendered her resignation to the board, to take effect from July 31.
