SWIMMING.
ALLENTON AMATEUR CLUB. A meeting of the committee of the Allenton District Amateur Swimming Club was hold last evening. It was reported that the Club had been granted Centre championships this season. It was decided to hold the annual carnival on Saturday, February 3, with a dance to follow. A social committee was formed, comprising Mrs E. Eaden, Miss M. Wilson and Messrs A. Mathieson, R. McCrea and Roy Plunkett.
