FINNS HOLD LINES.
<rtf> TWENTY THOUSAND SOLDIERS. NORTH PART OF COUNTRY. (Received This Day, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 4. The Kirkenaes correspondent of the Associated Press states that 20,000 Finnish soldiers hold lines in the north of Finland. The foremost line from Petsamo southwards is slightly east of the so-called Arctic Highway. The others are 30 miles farther west and closer to Norway, touching Salmajarvi. All are fxrstline troops with first-class equipment.
