BITTER FIGHTING.
ATTACKS ON FINNISH POSTS. SOVIET TROOPS DRIVEN BACK. (Received This Day, 10.20 a.m.) STOCKHOLM, December 1. Bitter fighting is reported at Terijoki, where the Russians are keeping the Finnish defences continuously engaged with heavy artillery fire and bombings by air. Successive waves of Soviet troops are reported to have been driven back.
