NO BRITISH CRUISER SUNK.
(Received This Day, 9.50 a.m.) LONDON, December 1:
Following upon the Admiralty’s denial that no cruiser of the London class .lias been destroyed by a U-boat, the Germans have attempted ,to elicit further information by pointing out that this denial does not imply that no disaster had befallen any cruiser and that the silhouettes of other vessels closely resemble those of the London class. It can he stated on the best authority, however, that no British cruiser of any kind has been sunk.— British Official* Wireless."? ' n
