It is authoritatively stated that a German broadcast reporting unrest among the Samoan natives is untrue, and may have arisen from the transfer of 15 pro-Nazi German nationals to Ngav Zealand for internment. ■ There have been no efforts at suppression because none has, been necest sary. The recent elections to the native legislative body passed off successfully, and oflers for local and oA r erseas service, both by Europeans ancf Samoans, have been numerous. As Samoa is administered by NeAV Zealand under a League of Nations mandate, these offers have not been accepted British Official Wireless.
