higher price for second GRADE. (Per Press Association). jt WELLINGTON, November 21. An increase in the price to- he paid by the United Kingdom for secondgrade creamery butter was announced by the Minister for Marketing, (the Hon W. Nash) in a broadcast to-night. He said that since announcing the schedule of prices on Friday night, information had been received from the British ernment that the deduction -from the basic purchase price was to lie > r »s per cwt for second-grade creamery butter, instead of 6s, as originally fixed. The ' basic purchase price is 112 s 6d per cwl sterling, f.o.b. Reference to the increase in prices to be paid for Australian cheese was also made by the Minister, who said it seemed that the prices New Zealand had obtained had resulted in an advantageous adjustment for Australia.
