The track was in good order and the attendance fairly large. The totalisntor handled £38,719 10s, compared with £36,623 10s on the second day last year. Waikato Hack Cup, of £350; one mile—3-4 The Dozer 8.2 (Logan) 1, 5-8 Odtaa 8.11 (Day) 2, 2-1 Ruatiti 8.10 (Broughton) 3. Won by half a length, a length and a-half between second and third. Time, 1.39. Kirikiriroa Handicap, of £350; six furlongs—l-2 Our Jean 8.2 (Horne) 1, 3- Llangollen 9.7 (Green) 2, 4-5 Olympus 7.10 (Broughton) 3., Won by a length, a neck between second and third.
