PRINCE AUGUST NOT SHOT. NOT CONCERNED !N PLOT. (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) , . . 'LONDON, November 20. A Berlin report to the British United Press says that in order to disprove the report that he had been shot, Prince, August Wilhelm received foreign correspondents, whom he told that 10 members of the former Imperial family were- serving with the colours. None was implicated in the bomb plot at Munich, regarding which Herr Hitler bad thanked the Kaiser for a congratulatory telegram on his escape. The Crown Prince is living at Potsdam, whence he goes to Berlin on business daily. Prince August Wilhelm added: “We have friends in England, but for reasons of’'tact' have not communicated with them since the outbreak of the war, but wo have maintained correspondence with friends in the United States.” POLE SENTENCED TO DEATH. CHARGE ‘OF MURDERING GERMANS. (Received This Day, 11.25 a.m.) LONDON, November 20. A Berlin report states that, charged with having murdered two Germans early in the war in Poland, a Pole was sentenced to death at Posen. Seven other Poles were sentenced to imprisonment, the terms ranging from six months to four years.
