CHURCH ANNIVERSARY.
SERVICE AT LOWCLIFFE. - A children’s anniversary Service was conducted in the Lowcliffe Church on Sunday afternoon by the Rev. W. H. Carroll. Suitable children’s hymns were sung. Miss Alelva Reddecliffe recited a poem, “The Lowly'King,” as opening worship. The children of the Kindergarten sang “Blacking Boots.” “0, Little Town of Bethlehem” was given as a duet by Miss Nita Hanson’ and Alaster Carter. The anthem, “I’ve Two Little Hands to Work for Jesus,” was sung by all the Sunday Schoolchildren. The New Testament reading, St. Alatthew’s Gospel, chapter 2/ verses’ 1 to 11, was read by Alaster lan Carter. Mr Carroll gave a very .appropriate address, based on the latter ' part of verse 11 of the second of St. Alatthew.
