ASHBURTON GOLF CLUB. •PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES. PRIZE LIST FOR THE YEAR. The Ashburton Golf Club brought a most successful season to a close to-day with the playing of a mixed foursome. The links were in first-class order for the greater part of the season, and this was reflected in the high standard of play maintained throughout. A large number of bogey and medal matches were decided this season, and the club was fortunate in being favoured with good weather on most of the playing days. A feature of the year -was the Mid-Canterbury amateur championship, which, as usual, attracted the attention of many well-known golfers from outside clubs.
After to-day’s play the trophies wop during the season were presented by the president (Mr W. H. Anios). The prize list is as follows: March 11—Opening day mixed foursomes—Miss Brown and W. P. Ander-
