PERM!TS TO LEAVE HOME. (Per Press Association). WELLINGTON, November 2. Enemy aliens in New Zealand now require written permits to be -absent from their registered places of abode longer than 24 hours. To-night’s Gazette states.;—“Every alien who is or at any time lias been a national in any State with which his. Majesty is at war shall, before leaving his registered, place of abode for the time being for any continuous period exceeding 24 hours, obtain' from a registration officer ill the police district in which he resides a writtenpermit authorising him to be so absent.” Applicants are to supply such details of intended absence fis might be required.
