The service was in connection with the day of national prayer. The King held a Privy Council this evening. The council was attended bj Earl Stanhope (Lord President of the Council), Sir Alexander Harding© (tb( King’s private secretary) and Mr Ernest Brown (Minister for Labour and National Service).
