WOMEN’S DIVISION.
THE ANAMA BRANCH. The monthly meeting of tlie Anama branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was held recently, Mrs R. Hewson presiding. The following were the results of tlie competitions:—Fowl, Miss Linda. Robertson ; shopping bag, Mrs R. Hewson ; butter, Mrs Dwyer; cake, Mrs Candy ; jam, Mrs McKenzie ; eggs, Mrs Linda Robertson j socks, Mrs R. Brown; loaf, Mrs W. J. Robertson; pullover. Miss Merle McKenzie ; apple jelly, Mrs R. Hewson; tea waggon covers, Mrs W. J. Robertson; apricots, Mrs J. Quantnck; marmalade, Mrs W. J. Robertson ; shortbread, Mrs R. Hewson. Mr J. Johnson, of the Workers’ Educational Association (Christchurch), gave a talk on a trip through the United States.
