BOMBS DROPPED ON CIVILIANS. C HIL D REN MAC HIN E-G UNN ED. ALLEGATION BY THE POLES. (Received This Bay, 11.5 a.m.) NEW YORK, September 3. The Warsaw correspondent of the United Press of America states that the Foreign Office charged German ’planes with dropping gyiperite gas on civilian populations and bombing and machinegunning women and children who were fleeing from attacked cities. INCENDIARY AND GAS BOMBS. REPORTED USE BY GERMANS. HUNDREDS KILLED. OB INJURED LONDON, September 1. The Exchange News Agency’s Zurich correspondent says that gas and incendiary bombs killed and injured hundreds' in the Posen district. The Polish Trans-continental News Agency announced that German aviators dropped thh first gas bombs on the town of lowonsz. The Warsaw correspondent of the United Press of America says that incendiary' bombs destroyed the hospital at Velunjo.
