PATRONAL FESTIVAL.

CELEBRATIONS AT MOUNT SOMERS. In connection Avith the patronal festival of St. Aidan’s Anglican Church, Mount Somers, special services, conducted by the IGrv. H. G. Norris, Avere held on St. Aidan’s Day, followed by the annual, parish ball. The ball avus one of the most successful yet held. The ballroom was gaily decorated Avith evergreens and streamers. Dance music Avas supplied by Cook’s orchestra (Lyndhurst). and extras Avere played bv Mesdames L. M. Goodrich and V . McLean. Messrs J. A. ’Hears and G. X. Harrison Avere joint. M.C’.’s. The festival Avas concluded yesterday Avlien the preacher Avas the Rev. H. J. Hopkins, of Tiniaru. All the sendees were largely attended. Mrs L. Goodrich was organist.
