The recession in wool prices is illustrated by figures issued 'by the National Council of Wool-selling Brokers. The value of wool sold in Sydney in the twelve months ended June 30 was £15,077,537, a fall of £2,543,884, compared with the amount in the 1937-8 season. The turnover this year was 1,143,856 bales, or 48,834 more than the previous season.
