WAR WORK FOR GIRLS.
COURSE PROPOSED AT HAWERA. (Per Press Association). HAWERA, March 13. Courses to prepare girls for tasks that would fall to women in war were advocated this evening by the Hawera High School Board, which appointed a committee to make plans for a week’s course next year. The step was prompted by discussion of the recent military camp for boys. It was considered that something similar should be done for girls.
