POPPY DAY APPEAL.
RAKAIA COLLECTS £ls. The annual poppy day appqnl which was held at. Rakaia, resulted in £ls, the same amount as last year, being obtained. The appeal was organised by the Rakaia branch of tho Returned Soldiers’ Association, members of the executive, their wives, and assistants being responsible for the street appeal.
