GRAZIERS’ PROBLEMS.
DISCUSSION AT MAYFIELD. The problems of runholders were discussed by Mr T. D. Burnett, M.P. for Temuka, with many sheep farmers near the Rangitata Gorge and others with holdings in the Ashburton Gorge, at the Mayfield Show on Saturday, when a. private meeting was held. A similar meeting will be held at Mount Somers next Saturday. Both meetings are preliminary to the gathering of runholders which has been arranged with the’ Minister for Lands (the Hon. F. Langstone) at Tekapo tliis month.
