" (Received This Day, 10.20 a.m.) JERUSALEM, March 12._ ""A message from Amman states that Transjordan frontier police and the Arab legion; with 15 Royal Air Force ’planes, routed a large body of uniformed Arab terrorists. The battle began yesterday and ended to-day. The British Commander, LieutenantColonel Clirystall, directed operations from an aeroplane at which the terrorists fired, seriously wounding the pilot, * Sergeant Coggins, who landed safely. A British officer, and 40 terrorists and four Arab legionaries are reported to have been killed.
