LATE COMMERCIAL.
LONDON WOOL SALES. PRICES BETTER. FEWER PASSINGS. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Dav, 10.55 a.m.) LONDON, Dee. 2. At the wool sales 8230 bales were offered, ineluding 2341 from New Zealand. A total of 7159 were sold. The demand was bettor, and withdrawals less frequent, rates being generally maintained. The Home trade was chief buyer. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from ils London office under date December 2: — “Market now not quite so good. Prices for superior wools are fully firm, average sorts are selling in buyers’ favour.”
