M. DALADIER’S WARNING.
TACTICS OF THE SOCIALISTS. N FASCISM A POSSIBILITY. LONDON, November 23. The danger of a Fascist form of government emerging from French political confusion, is emphasised by the Prime Minister, M. Daladier. In a private letter to his Left-wing followers, who are revolting against the recent economic decrees, M. Daladier points out that Socialist pin-prick-ing tactics will result in France being forced from democracy, thus compelling her to collaborate with the dictatorships.
He said that, if the Popular Front became divided against itself, he would be compelled to rely on the Right Wing for political support, and the forces aiming at Fascism would triumph. French political writers believe that when Parliament meets on December 6, M. Daladier will be defeated, but, as all political parties have been plunged into confusion by the Munich agreement and the economic decrees, a political situation is developing similar to that'in Germany in 1933, proceeding Hitler’s emergence.
