Mails for the South close as follows ; Monday to Saturday—9.3o a.m., late fee at Post Office 9.55 a.m., late fee at station 10.4 a.m. Wednesday and Friday—l.2o p.m., late fee at Post Office 1.45 p.m., late fee at station 2.6 p.m. Monday to Friday (inclusive), 8 p.m. (letters only) Dunedin and South of Dunedin only. Air Mails within New Zealand. Air mails within N. Z. close at the Ashburton Post Office, daily, except Sunday: North bound 8 p.m. ; South bound 7 a.m.
