BRITAIN TO EGYPT JOURNEY. (United Press Association —Copyright.; ALEXANDRIA, November 30. The Mercury, the upper component of the Mayo composite aircraft, arrived at 6.22 a.m. after a record flight of 14 hours six minutes from Southampton. The Mercury was launched in mid-air from the Maia on its first commercial flight with Christmas mails from London to the East.
