THE ADVENTURES OF MICHAEL
Bill asks. “Please, Michael, will you judge the finals of our Baby Show? Three pups are left. We can’t decide to which the Special Prize should go.”
First Michael sees a Scotty small with pointed ears and lovely eyes. Says Mike, “A fine wee terrier. I’m sure that he will win the Prize.”
But next he sees a Collie pup with shining coat and rougish face. Says Mike, “A lovely little chap. I think that he will win First Place.”
But when he sees the Bulldog pup, he murmurs, “What development! —l’ll have to give a Prize to each. To say, ‘Dead Heat’ is my intent.”
