The Hague correspondent says that dreadful scenes are reported from Zevenaar, on the Dutch-German frontier, where gendarmes turned back many refugees, including fugitives from a concentration camp. Several attempted to commit suicide;
ANTI-J EWISH RIOTING. i DISORDER AT’ JOHANNESBURG. (Received This Day, 1.25 p.m.) CAPE TOWN, November 24. The Police at Johannesburg quelled with tear gas bombs anti-Jewish rioting following a Fascist meeting. Thirty were iifjured, two of whom were shot and one stabbed. The mol) shouting “Down with the Jews,” chased every Jew in sight.
