FIVE OFFICERS SHOT DEAD.
FOUR OTHERS RECEIVE WOUNDS
MURDERER SHOT BY COMRADES. (United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received This Day, 9.30 a.m.) DELHI, November 24. It is reported from Peshawar that a Sepoy attached to the Punjabi battalion at Nowsliera ran amok and shot lead Colonel E, H. Gray, officer commanding, who was sleeping in his tent, after which the Sepoy killed a British captain and lieutenant who rushed to the scene and two Indian officers. He also wounded two British majors and a lieutenant and an Indian officer.
The battalion, fearing a Pathan attack, manned the barricades and shot dead the murderer as be was fleeing from the •camp.

It is repurtd from Pashawar that one of the wounded Majors died. Two of the other officers arc in a. very precarious condition.

A Peshawar message says that the death-roll is now tight, including the assailant.
