The Trenthani Scholarship Fund from which more than £70,000 has been distributed in the last 20 years in bursaries to children of dead and disabled soldiers and others, who served with the* New Zealand Expeditionary Force in the Great War, was wound up at a final meeting of the Executive Committee to-day It was staled that 3764 bursaries had been awarded providing secondary •education for I.'ISI children of dead and disabled men.' with excellent results to the ’beneficiaries and to the eomiminitv. A sum of £221 I.os had been made available for use in IMS) to enable 21 bursars to complete their studies. Any balance, less the administration costs, is to he paid over to the Canteen and Regimental Trust Fund Board.
