TEMPERANCE UNION.
RAKAIA ANNUAL MEETING. Mr A. Wilson presided over the annual meeting of the Makaia Young People’s Christian Temperance Union liield in the St. Andrew’s schoolroom recently. The election of officers resulted as follows President (monthly), Mr A. Wilson; secretary, Miss Bosnia Pluck ; treasurer. Miss Beryl Clark; badge agent, Miss Eileen SluuTnon. Miss Stella Uicksou, for members, presented Mr S. Wilson, who will he married shortly, with some cutlery.
