THE LONDON WOOL SALES. RATES GENERALLY MAINTAINED (United Press Association—Copyright.} (Received This Day, 1.50 p.m.) LONDON, November 23. At the wool sales 8630 bales wep-e offered, including 3985 New Zealand, and 7758 were sold. There was a good selection with active competition, rates being generally maintained. New Zeal.and crossbreds were well taken by the Home trade and there was good Continental bidding for Merinos. New Zealand greasy ha If bred “Howard” sold at 9Jd to 13-id ; scoured Merino, “Oxford,” at 16d.
