FATALLY INJURED BY ENGINE. (Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Nov. 4. Mr Mathias Jensen, whou was struck iy a shunting locomotive when he was Tossing the railway line from the New ’lvmouth station to the port last kiesday night, died in hospital early his morning. Lie suffered a had, iracnre of the skull and thigh. Ho was a etired carpenter, aged 65, and lived ,t. New Plymouth. MOTORIST SUCCUMBS. PALMERSTON NORTH, Nov. 4. The death occurred in hosital to-day >f Mr Claude William Macdonald, a lairdresser, a married man, of Wellingon, who was injured when his ear omersaulted near Ohau last Saturday ‘veiling.
