TROUBLE AT TAVUA MINES. t NATIVE WORKERS WALK OFF. GRIEVANCE ABOUT WAGES. (United Press Association—Copyright; (Received This Day, 1.30 p.m.) SUVA, November 4. Labour trouble at the Tavua mines resulted in a walk-out of all underground and surface native workers on the Emperor property on Monday. Pickets succeeded in withdrawing the mill hands on Tuesday. It is alleged that the trouble is due to the engagement of inexperienced workers from Roturna at higher wages than Fijians of considerable service. It reached a climax following the accidental death of a Fijian at the Emperor property. ,
