BAND CONTEST.
THE DOMINION ENTRIES, (Per Preßs Association.) WELLINGTON, November 2. Foi- the New Zealand Brass Band’s Association’s championship contests, to be held in Christchurch from February 19 to 25, tliie following entries have been received by the secretary (Mr J. G. Osborne): — A Grade —Port Nicholson Silver, St. Kilda Municipal, Timaru Municipal, Wanganui Garrison, AVellington Municipal, AVoolston. B Grade —Ashburton Silver, Christchurch Municipal, (D'annevirke Municipal, Green Island Municipal, Hastings Citizens, Nelson-Marl borough Mounted Rifles, Oamam Municipal, Feilding Municipal, Taranaki Regimental, New Plymouth Municipal, AVellington Boys’ Institute, Lower Hutt Civic. Test music will be forwarded fo the contesting bands at the end of next week.
