WOMEN’S DIVISION.
THE ANAMA BRANCH. The monthly meeting of the Anama branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union was hold in the school, there being a good: attendance. The president (Mrs R. Hewson) presided.
Miss N. Ivey gave a demonstration on tatting, for which she was accorded a vote of thanks.
Competitions resulted: Radish, Mrs R. Currie 1, Mrs W. Robertson 2, Miss N. Ivey 3; posy howl. Miss L. .Robertson 1, Miss W. Robertson 2, ,Mrs R. Hewson 3; bloom, Mrs R. Currie 1, Mrs R. Hewson 2, Mrs W. Robertson 3; article made from one yard of cretonne, Mrs J. Rose 1, Miss L, Robertson 2, Mrs R, Hewson 3.
