When the Hon W.Nash appears at functions where it is incumbent on him to wear the regalia of a Doctor of Laws tire honorary degree conferred on him at Carp hr id go University—he will don a gown with an interesting history. The gppm is that of the late Archbishop Julius, who also held an honorary Doctorate of La>vs of Cambridge. The gown was presented to Mr Nash by representatives of the Julius family yesterday, and Mr Nash wore it for the first time at the memorial service to the Archbishop. “It was a great honour, and I deeply appreciate it,” said Air Nash.
