THE MAGINOT LINE.
STRONGEST IN HISTORY. (United Press Association —Copyright.) PRAGUE, October 29. The newspaper “Express,” mouthpiece of the Czech National League, states that the German tests of the forfeited Czech, fortifications proved that the French Maginot line is the strongest in the history of warfare. Military experts’ conducted a fulldress attack with heavy artillery. Fifty heavy bombers failed to break the line. An average of 50 bombs was required to smash a dug-out, and then only the roof was demolished.
