DAIRYING IN THE NORTH. SEVERAL FACTORS MENTIONED. RECOVERY EXPECTED. (Per Press Association.) W ELLINGTON, This Day. A survey of the prospects of dairy production in the Manawatu, Hawke’s Bay, Wanganui and Rangitikei districts shows that in most instances a fall in output has been recorded this season. This is attributed to a number of factors, including the weather, the shortage of far mlabour, and the fact that some dairymen have changed over to sheep. It is stated that recovery is largely dependent on the weather, and many authorities express the opinion that by the time the flush of the season is reached the output will be hack to normal.
