GREAT TASK
THE HISTORY OF PARLIAMENT. SECOND VOLUME COMPLETED. THE YEARS FROM 1439 TO 1509. (United Press Association —Copyright.) (Received This Day, 10.25 a.m.) LONDON, October 28. The completion of a new volume . of the History of Parliament, covering the years from 1439 to 1509, marks the second stage of the great tasks of research and compilation which will occupy those engaged upon it for several years. The work was planned after a committee of both Houses reported that sufficient material was available for a record of the personnel and politics oi Parliament from 1204.
The new‘volume gives the first list of all sessions of Parliament during the period covered and details of all the members of Parliament. About 25 copies of the first volume of the History of Parliament went to Japan.—British Official Wireless.
