Semple) is to ask Cabinet to approve the proposal that motorists convicted of being drunk Avhile in charge of a. car should Avork out their gaol sentence during the Aveok-ends only, so that punishment will not interfere AA-ith their earning power and thereby penalise the offenders’ family.
