Five Arabs YVere killed in extensive operations by the army north-of Nazareth, the Arab village of Miar, in the Haifa district, being demolished as punishment for sniping and damaging roads.
The British force in Palestine at present numbers 1 18,500 officers and. ,npm. Permits have been issued allotting a maximum of 4870 foreign immigrants, mostly Jews, for the six months eliding March 31 next.
