CLAY BIRD SHOOTING.

7 METHVEN GUN CLUB. The monthly shoot of the Methven Gun Club was held on Saturday afternoon on the Mount Harding Racecourse. Owing to the snow on the ground and strong light, conditions were hard for shooting. An excellent muster of members was present, and in spite of the handicap the scoreboard showed very close shooting. In the more important matches there was little margin and for the final trophy match all but one shooter were only one down, and three put on the possible.
